Dr Georgios Karagiannis is a consultant cardiologist at Harefield Hospital.
He studied medicine at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki in Greece. He accomplished his specialist training in Greece and was awarded ‘excellent’ marks on completion. In 2009, he completed his PhD in Cardiology, in which he also received an ‘excellent’ mark.
Dr Karagiannis had been awarded fellowship of the European Society of Cardiology and fellowship of the European Heart Failure Association for this academic and clinical work.
